Sinboi, I know the pain you're feeling, and I'm sorry. The death of someone who was special to us causes pain and mental turmoil which at that very moment swallows us up in a darkness which is not "normal" to those who suffer. Whether we have faith in an all-powerful God and the promise of a resurrection, or we view such thinking as ludicrous, both camps should respect the other person's choice in what they believe or disbelieve. Personally, at the moment, I don't believe in alien visitations or abductions, but ridiculing people who do would say more about me than them. It is clear that Christians (not just J.W.'s)` get comfort at such times with verses like these: 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14 - "And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died." (New Living Translation) Non-believers have no such comfort - whether it's true or not.

a very close classmate of mine met an accident and died last nite.... just 4 months after i da'd from the borg.. if i am still in, i wouldn't be so sad.
he has the hope of resurrection.. but now that i am out, i realise that resurrection in paradise is all bullshit.. so what's next?

Those who live in the ivory towers of the WTBTS are far removed from the reality of life - that people usually have to work to get money to pay for life's necessities. Others choose to become parasites, rather than provide for themselves.

"If the end is so imminent, why go to all the time, trouble, and (sheep's) expense to sell off the world HQ and the U.K. properties and build new ones? Why not replace them with the White House and Buckingham Palace as soon as Armageddon is over?" Duh!

J.W.'s are being brow-beaten to donate by every other talk, article, or broadcast.My prediction: the org could announce in the coming months/year that all contribution boxes will be removed from Kingdom Halls worldwide and that every active publisher will be requested to donate electronically, either via their bank account or the org's own digital platform - all in the name of improving administration and making better use of funds.For those who don't have the means to do so, an assigned elder in the congregation will "assist" such ones by transferring their donations via his chosen electronic transfer method.Every other aspect of WTBTS Reich #2 is now being mastered digitally/electronically, and since income stream is the most vital aspect of its business empire, the hierarchy will be reviewing how they fleece the individual sheep more regularly & efficiently.
